what a t-shirt...

iso: 200

So... I was at Next Generation 2009, working in the resource room as part of logistics... and along comes a delegate by the name of Jonathan... wearing a black T-Shirt with a red ribbon pattern, and a label on it stating (To: Women, From: God).

WOOOOWWW... what a brave man to wear a shirt like that... I HAD to take a photo of it.

However it did get me thinking about the Genesis account.
Genesis 2:18 The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him."

It seems as though Woman was made with the wrapping on it, (To: Man [singular], From: God) instead... And WHAT a wrapping women come in! I think God is amazing to have created women... sheer genius.

Nice shirt Jonno... but terribly unbiblical... =P

enjoying and savouring the moments...

My apologies to everyone who is a regular reader of this blog (I know there is only a small handful of you guys, but it is enough to motivate me to apologise…). It has been a long time since my last post. A lot has happened to me over the past couple of months and while I would have loved to have blogged about them, a large part of me wanted to just sit and enjoy the moment, rather than dissecting it and over-analysing it on this blog. I guess some things you just want to enjoy and savour the moments… all to yourself.

So… sorry for being selfish… but some things are for now, between me and God.

wheresitat?

I originally wanted to put this post up during the Beijing Olympics a few months back, but was unsure about the political correctness of it. And besides... I have nothing against the military guards of China. I kind of think its good to have young men trained and disciplined... and I think the military does a pretty good job at it. Besides, I really enjoyed my China trip in 07!

Sadly I think too many young men today are too busy filling their lives with booze, sex and drugs. As Driscoll might say, "Get a job!".

What do you think about modern young men (Especially if you're a female reader/viewer of my blog)? Are we up to scratch? What are the areas we could improve in?

As some of you know that I have been off on a 2 week holiday to Hawaii. So here are some photos I thought I could share with you.

Sandy beach - A hotspot for surfers. Looks so peaceful!

I found some Christians along the way and decided to join the party!

i'm an uncle!

Somewhat daunted by the thought of what it means to be an 'uncle'. But looking into his eyes seeing him grimmace, quietly coughing or sneezing (can't work it out sometimes), just makes you praise God for the wonders of life.

His name is Sebastian. Cute little thing... he is an amazing blessing.
